What an interesting day.

January 18, 2014

So I started out in a class at Precision Camera and Video, to learn video portrait techniques from nationally recognized commercial photographer Giulio Sciorio.  And while there, he agreed to let me assist him on some weekend shoots in the future.  There's no better way to learn about my new camera system than by working with one of the "Lumix Luminaries".  Additionally, I heard  from (Matt) the owner of WeGotThisCovered.com, confirming that I will be doing the videography for their interviews on the red carpet at the SXSW film festival in a few months.

To top it off, while shopping at the new Whole Foods store tonight, I met the script supervisor for Revolution (one of my favorite TV shows) and her boyfriend (I think) who is a grip for Robert Rodriguez's new series, From Dusk til Dawn.  He may be interested in one of my Canon lenses for his Sony NEX 7 camera, so I may get to visit some more with him later.  So many cool artists congregating in Austin these days!

A little something I shot with Kitty Kaboom this morning.
